West B Pack 6,0Kg 105 With 206
Description
105 resin mixed with 206 slow hardener can be used for extended assembly times when working in ideal conditions or the ambient temperature is higher than normal. WEST SYSTEM 105-206 cured resin/hardener mixture yields a high-strength, rigid solid which has excellent cohesive properties and provides an outstanding moisture vapour barrier with excellent bonding & coating properties.
WEST SYSTEM 105-206 Pot Life at 25°C = 20 to 30 minutes Cure to Solid State at 21°C = 9 to 12 hours Cure to Maximum Strength at 21°C = 5 to 7 days. WEST SYSTEM 105-206 minimum Recommended Working Temperature = 16°C Pumps Required = (5:1 ratio) 301, 306 or 309
WEST SYSTEM 105
105 Epoxy Resin is the base material on which all WEST SYSTEM 105 System epoxy compounds are built. It is a clear, pale yellow, low-viscosity liquid epoxy resin. Blended with hardener at the proper ratio, it cures to a hard, solid plastic with superior physical properties. Based on which hardener you choose, it cures at a wide range of temperatures. Once cured, it forms a high-strength solid that is functionally waterproof, and highly resistant to moisture vapour.
WEST SYSTEM 205
205 Fast Hardener is a medium-viscosity epoxy curing agent. It is useful in a majority of bonding situations, and at lower temperatures. 205 Fast Hardener produces a rapid epoxy cure that develops physical properties quickly at room temperature. Mix it with WEST SYSTEM 105 Resin in a five-part resin to one-part hardener ratio. The resulting cured epoxy is a rigid, high-strength, moisture-resistant solid. The combination of 105 Resin/205 Fast Hardener has excellent bonding and coating properties.
