Suzuki Outboard DF40A Lean Burn 

The DF40A is the latest additions to Suzuki's fleet of fuel-efficient new generation four-stroke outboards, Suzuki's engineers have combined a high performance DOHC dual overhead cam engine with the Lean Burn Control System to create an outboard that delivers superior power and performance along with top-level fuel economy. All Suzuki's outboards are lightweight and easy to use plus both noise and exhaust emissions are incredibly low, so that you can concentrate on enjoying your boating experience.

DOHC Dual Overhead Cam Engine- Not only does the double overhead cam design produce exceptional power but also its compact combustion chamber and centre mount spark plugs provide thorough combustion with excellent fuel efficiency. 

Lean Burn Control System-  Enables the engine to operate on a lean air-fuel ratio or a thinner mixture of fuel. The system controls the air to fuel mixture by predicting fuel needs according to operating conditions. It delivers its benefits over a wide operating range providing significant improvements in fuel economy from low speed operation well up into the cruising range, which all helps to reduce your fuel bills.
